Studium Generale of the University of Freiburg
Looking back on more than 60 years of history, the Albert-Ludwigs-University’s program Studium generale is focused on promoting both interdisciplinary dialogue and networking, especially between science and humanities. The heart of the program is a series of comprehensive talks, panel discussions, and lectures with national and international guests who join local scholars in discussing up-to-date research in their respective fields. Furthermore, its Colloquium politicum has become well-known throughout the country for bringing together academics, politicians and representatives of notable German and international institutions in order to discuss contemporary political and social developments. All events are public.
