Kinder von ca. 9-12 Jahren informieren sich bei der Kinderakademie auf spielerische Weise über aktuelle Umweltthemen und werden am Ende des Tages von Felix Finkbeiners Stiftung Plant-for-the-Planet zu „Botschaftern für Klimagerechtigkeit“ ernannt. Eine Pflanzaktion ist der Höhepunkt des Tages.

Am Young Talents Day treffen Schülerinnen und Schüler ab 15 Jahren und junge Studierende die Umweltpreisträger im United World College und tauschen sich über Ideen, Erfahrungen und Visionen aus. Verbände, Organisationen und Projekte aus Freiburg und Region können sich und ihre Arbeit bei "Music & Market" mit einem Präsentationsstand vorstellen und Kontakte knüpfen.
