In the year 2011, Mr Al Khatib obtained his B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering at the European University of Lefke in Cyprus. During the same period Nasser was trained in structural design at the University. In 2011 Nasser moved back to live and reside in Palestine and worked as full Engineer at different companies ending up by Water and Environmental Development Organization (WEDO) as Projects Coordinator. In November 2012 Nasser appointed as Site & Office Engineer at Global Communities. In 2015 he attended a two-year Master's Degree in Environmental Sciences at Al Quds University, in the same period Nasser took part in exchange program with University of Twenty in Netherlands and Al Quds university in water governance. Since 2014 Nasser participated in three Capacity Building Workshops on Facilitation skills, United States for Peace (USIP), Ramallah – Palestine. He took part in many trainings in Negotiations and communications skills, Conflict Management and Hazardous Waste Management, Geotechnical Investigation of Dams, Design of Sewerage and Water Distribution Systems, Training Engineers on Wastewater Design Systems, Designing low cost wastewater treatment systems. Besides delivering national advocacy workshops for high‐level decision makers in close cooperation with the national partner and in between functioned as Water sector advisor in Water governance and water Management with the Global Water Partnership (GWP), Palestinian-Dutch Academic Cooperation Program on Water (PADECO) and other international organizations.
