Joachim Wünning is an entrepreneur from the Stuttgart area. His company is developing, producing and selling low pollutant and highly efficient gas burners for heating high temperature industrial furnaces. Besides running the company, the engineer is involved in combustion research and actively participates in several national and international research projects regarding clean and efficient combustion. Together with his father, Wünning received the Deutsche Umweltpreis in 2011 for developing flameless oxidation - FLOX, a breakthrough for low NOx combustion.
