University Professor Jamal Mohamed Safi

University Professor and Chairman of EPRI, Gaza, Jamal Safi is Professor at Al-Azhar University-Gaza and Founder Chairman of the Environmental Protection & Research Institute, Gaza, since 1989. He has 25 years’ experience in Chemistry and Toxicology of Pesticides and their impact on human health and the environment. In addition he has wide and professional experience in teaching, research and development in the fields of environment, public health and agriculture. Safi is principal investigator in more than 25 international and regional research projects funded mainly by USAID-MERC, DFG-Germany and the EC. Moreover he published about 85 research papers in peer reviewed journals.
