Regine Richter works with the environmental and human rights organisation urgewald on energy topics and public banks and guarantees. urgewald focuses on fighting concrete projects such as the Bulgarian nuclear power plant Belene, or the Brazilian NPP Angra 3 as well as on sectors, such as financing for coal. This was basically ruled out by World Bank, European Investment Bank and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in 2013 and restricted by export credit agencies up from 2017.
