Biologist, MSc in biodiversity conservation and PhD in Sciences. I work in biodiversity conservation, mostly by using science as the basis for supporting planning and decision-making. I currently serve as Co-Chair of the IUCN/SSC Small Carnivore Specialist Group, Vice-president of the Colombian Mammalogy Society, and serve as Editor-in-chief for the Latin American Journal of Conservation, Small Carnivore Conservation and Mammalogy Notes. I have published over 90 scientific articles, 9 books and numerous divulgative and outreach papers.
