Charles Mathews

Charles Mathews is the project director of the sustainable consumption programme at JUCCCE that helps with the greening of China. The Chinese Dream seeks to reimagine prosperity and reshape consumerism by catalyzing a new aspirational lifestyle that is innately sustainable for the emergent middle class in China. Mathews is also a director of the UK-based charity “Suchen” (Sustainable Chinese Entrepreneurship) and a committee member of the 48 Group Club’s Young Icebreakers, which serves to promote trade relations between the UK and China. Mathews received his BSc in Economics and Management from the University of Bristol (UK).
