Mohammed Rezwan is Founding Executive Director of Shidhulai Swanirvar Sangstha and invented ‘floating education system’ to ensure access to year round and quality education in flood-prone regions. He developed, expanded, and sustained floating schools over 16 years. Now floating schools are in operation in eight countries. Drawing on his architectural expertise, he designs spaces on boats that successfully accommodating the need of a school, library, to training center. He is the inventor of the ‘integrated floating farming’ technique, as well as the ‘bamboo, bottle and siren’ flood warning system and the ‘SuryaHurricane solar lantern’. Rezwan served on international advisory committees dealing with education, technology, and environment. He regularly presents at global conferences on his innovations, climate change, green energy, and education. He is a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts (RSA).
