Placide Dieudonné Nzisabira

Placide Diedonné Nzisabira is president of AJDR Cooperative. The Cooperative helps street kids and unemployed youth earn an income by making fuel-efficient charcoal-burning stoves from scrap metal, heat retaining insulated baskets and wood burning rocket stoves. Nzisabira received the Ashden Award for sustainable energy, the International Diamond Prize for Satisfaction by European Society, and a Golden Award in Small Business on November 20, 2012 in London.
