Tilo Nadler holds a diploma in engineering and biology. Since 1971 he has been a scientifically assistant at a research institute for climate technology (Germany) and a member of several expeditions to Mongolia, China and Africa. From 1986 till 1988 he had been the leader of the German biological research team during a two years Russian Antarctic expedition. Since 1993 he has been based in Vietnam as Vietnam Country Representative of Frankfurt Zoological Society, leader of the “Vietnam Primate Conservation Program” and Director of the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, Vietnam. His main working fields are the management of protected areas and the conservation of highly endangered primates.
