Ram Chandra Prasad

Mr Prasad has more than 30 years of experience in development sector with significant experience in the field of non-conventional energy sources. He introduced the concept of solar Light in the market in place of petromax to reduce pollution.He has been awarded with Ashden Award in 2003 for this initiative. Besides that, he has also implemented other initiatives like using solar energy for electrification of hostel for tribal's (indigenous) children in the forest areas. Prasad has also facilitated installation of more than 50000 Bio-gas plants in the villages as means of providing clean energy.
