Prof. Dr. Eckard Rehbinder

Since the beginning of the 1970s specialisation on environmental law; from 1987 to 2000 member of the German Council of Environmental Advisors (from 1996 to 2000 chairman); national and international consultative work on environmental law reform and codification; member of the International Council on Environmental Law (Regional Governor for Western Europe as from 2007) and the IUCN Commission on Environmental Law; author and co-author of many books and articles on environmental law including a treatise on environmental law, co-editor of three periodicals on environmental policy and law.
