Suryo Wardhoyo Prawiroatmodjo

Prawiroatmodjo, veterinarian, joined the Green Indonesia Foundation in 1980’s to help them spread environmental education, and initiated the establishment of Pusat Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup (PPLH), an environmental education centre in East Java, Indonesia, followed by several other centres. Among his current projects, Suryo is involved in the School Climate Challenge, an international student competition to help solve global warming, organizing a Caretakers of the Environment International Conference in East Java, campaigning springs and forest conservation through enhancing local wisdom with indigenous people.
