Natalia Manzurova completed an apprenticeship as specialist for radiobiology. She worked 10 years as scientific assistant at the Scientific Experimental and Research Center ONIS, where scientists studied the effect of radiation on nature objects after the nuclear accident in the Mayak facility in 1957. Then Manzurova worked 4 and a half years as leading engineer in the decontamination department on the re-vegetation of contaminated territory and on the storing of nuclear waste in the district Chernobyl after the accident at the nuclear station of Chernobyl.
