In 2001 in Mollesnejta I began with agroforestry, because there had bee no other chance to get this place green with his stony, eroded and degraded soil. Within the years I noticed the benefits of agroforestry, read a lot about agroforestry and began to investigate for myself. Then, in 2008 I initiated the network Espacio COmpartido en Sistemas AgroForestales (ECOSAF). We realised the first Agroforestry-Congress in 2009 and in November 2017 we had the 5th. Nowadays there is much interest for agroforestry, so Mollesnejta has become a center for investigation of Andean Agroforestry. We have students for internship and thesis, give courses about Agroforestry and myself is traveling for NGO NATUREFUND and CARITAS-International to other countries in Latinamerica, Africa and as well Europe to advise in Agroforestry and giving workshops. For my opinion, dynamic Agroforestry which mimics the proceses of natural forest, is the most sustainable technique to produce food and at the same time restore the soil, his water-cycle and the whole local ecosystem.
