In November 1984 the consul general Bruno H. Schubert and his wife Inge founded the Bruno H. Schubert Foundation. Aim of this prestigious Foundation is the promotion of science and their implementation, knowing and defending the dangers of nature, wildlife and environment. The Bruno H. Schubert Prize honors scientific achievements and their implementation in the field of nature and environmental protection. The recourses for the award are determined by the foundation’s chair from the profits of the endowment fund. The Bruno. H. Schubert Prize is the largest private environmental prize of Germany and is awarded every second year. >> Website
