Dr. Dieter Salomon

Dieter Salomon, born in Melbourne 1960, took up office as Mayor of the City of Freiburg in 2002 and was re-elected for a second term in 2010. Since 2006, Salomon has served as a member of the ICLEI World Executive Committee (International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives). Mayor Salomon has also been a member of the Presiding Board of the German Association of Towns and Cities (Deutscher Städtetag) since 2002 and a member of the Board of the Association of Towns and Cities of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg since 2002.
