Action for Environmental Sustainability (AfES)

I head Action for Environmental Sustainability (AfES) a local NGO working in various areas to address poverty and environmental issues. Over the past 9 years Action for Environmental Sustainability has been engaged in implementing activities in areas such as follows; Afforestation, Natural Resources and Biodiversity conservation; Sustainable energy (Solar energy, promotion of eco-stoves, Bio-gas energy, Methanol and Ethanol as a cooking fuel); Water supply, sanitation and hygiene initiatives; Livelihood enhancement, agriculture and food security initiatives; Disaster risk reduction and management; Climatic change mitigation; Community empowerment (empowerment of vulnerable groups including; Women, Youths, Children, the elderly and others).
